Psalm 50: God Himself is Judge

God himself is Judge

Psalm 50

The Mighty One, God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

What a great consolation and comfort it is to know, that God himself is Judge. No man, no women and no legal entity including Supreme Court justices shall evade ‘The God who speaks’.

God has spoken, God is not afraid to speak, God is all authority and is not afraid to speak.

‘In God we Trust’ is a beautiful quote for any country that aspires to uphold freedom of worship and freedom of speech. It is beautiful because it acknowledges that the authority of God is a necessity, as men lack the moral integrity to judge an issue when they are afraid of the consequences.

But God has spoken, and he is the ultimate Judge, therefore, ‘In God we Trust’

When this psalm was written, it is highly likely that the penned author believed that the Sun rotated around the earth, in that it rose and set. Further knowledge has enable men to know that the earth is in fact suspended in space, held in its place by quantum physics.

“The gravity of the Sun keeps the planets in their orbits. They stay in their orbits because there is no other force in the Solar System which can stop them”. (https://coolcosmos.ipac.caltech.edu/ask/197-How-do-the-planets-stay-in-orbit-around-the-sun)

Today, despite all are acquired knowledge we still talk about the sun rise and the sun set, because Romanticism is an authentic observed expression of what we see. Yet the Sun is a constant, it does not move over this earth for 12 hours of every day. NO, the Sun is a constant and unchanging source of heat and light that keeps are planet in its orbit 365 days a year since time first began.

Gods word is constant, that which God has spoken has not and will not change! Riots, wars, threats, personal agendas, compromises and pacts. That which God has spoken will stand forever, it does not change with the shifting of the sands.

Are planet is turning constantly towards the sun for all its source of life. When God spake the Sun and the moon into existence on day four of creation, the earth began to rotate towards that which God had spoken. No Court of men, shall stop that which has been decreed by the Lord God of heaven and earth, that which he has spoken, has been spoken. Man can’t stop the forces of gravity, what goes up must come down.

The spoken word of God, literally, summons the earth, every morning and every evening the earth is being turned towards the sun. Even when the sun is setting, it is only because of the same principle following behind, that is propelling towards the morning. The motion of the earth is constant towards that which God has spoken – God Himself shall Judge and shall not the Judge of all the earth do right, He shall not be afraid of speaking, nor of sharing with his friends, those he has entered into covenant with, that which he shall Judge.

Abraham the great patriarch of our faith, he knew that God made a distinction between righteousness and wickedness. He knew that God would do all that was honorable towards the righteous and that he would not throw their ‘lot’ in amongst the wicked. Abraham was a friend of God, and God knew that his friend would stand before him when he came in Judgement against wickedness. He knew that his friend in the measure that he knew God, would be able to discern that he as a righteous supreme justice would not neglect the upright vote and cast it aside with the wicked. God knew that Abraham would call Gods righteousness to account, that God values the integrity of each and every individual given the liberty of choice.

Here we have the parable of the sheep and the goats. A goat is perfectly happy residing in Sodom and may on that final day say ‘but Lord we did this in your name’, but he who summons the earth will turn to them and say, ‘you never knew me, as Abraham did, he knew that I made a distinction between righteousness and corruption – a Judge always looks at the evidence, no Judge should be appointed to the bar who is afraid to Speak!

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth

This shining forth, speaks of a greater light that the rising sun. It speaks to me in kind of Genesis Ch 1 v3, it is that light that saves men through Himself the light of the world. The tender loving kindness of God, that can answer the confusion of all whom dwell in Sodom. Did not the angels come to seek and to save any who deep within hoped that Zion maybe their home – a place where a God would wipe away every tear and restore to original design from utter corruption. Does anyone secretly desire to be called out from their dwelling place with sin. God seeks any and all who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

‘Our God come’ – make no mistake about it whatever comes ahead this is a sure word of prophesy. And he will not be silent.

Straight away after summoning the earth, God makes a distinction: ‘Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice’.

Lest we be in any doubt, the Psalmist spells it out: in the highest realms of the heavens Gods righteousness abounds, the light of God shines forth, because God himself is Judge.

The divine nature of God, is righteousness and it does judge that which is opposed to his nature.

If we have ears to hear, we will hear that God has spoken and that God is speaking and that God will come, at the end of time to summon all before his righteousness.

I am God, your God. This has a perfection of beauty within it shining forth. Even the authority of God when it comes to his people, is filled with liberty and freedom, it is filled with the New Covenant sealed by the blood of the Lamb. Abraham choose to obey the word of the Lord, and it enabled him to look for the coming City of Zion, a city that has foundations with Immanuel, quite unlike a City that sought to corrupt even the heavens.

Your God, has the narrative of creation and Adam & Eve’s innocence and liberty wrapped up in it. Your God, has covenant wrapped around it, as God had made promises unto Abraham and his seed, God sharing with him the truths concerning his eternal covenant: God provided himself a sacrifice, having shared all that could be desire to make one wise with his creation.

God cuts right through all the religious regalia and ritual. God presses into the heart of the issue which is the heart of the issue. God did not create man to be religious crusaders. Nor did he create man to satisfy a need to be worshipped. Gods nature is the perfection of beauty, and it shines forth through him being our God (My God and your God, My Father and your Father).

God has committed himself to his people, as being their God, which means he is fully manifested through the Word made flesh, who came to seek and save the lost. Jesus fulfilled all righteousness. That nature of God in the heavens, was not in any manner misrepresented by Jesus Christ when he walked upon this earth. Was Jesus ever afraid to speak? No never. But he did display his power, by being silent during his own rigged trial.

God spells out that he owns all things, having made all matter through his Son Jesus Christ.

God is after relationship. God is after the sharing of himself with us: Immanuel. This is not a crusade or ritual, it is genuine encounter and transparency with God himself – to walk with him in the Garden in the cool breeze of the morning and to hear him speak: ‘Rabboni’.

Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Having lifted himself up on her behalf, having suffered and died for all who have sinned and come short of the perfection of beauty, shall what he came down for not be lifted up: Gods sacrifice shall provide himself with a bride, not of compulsion but response to light that always shines forth. Having been in darkness, she was attracted to a tender loving and faithful source.

Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Blue or red, economy booming or busting, in sickness or in health.

Thanksgiving honors God through are faith.

Thanksgiving is a confession of having believed Gods spoken word – his spoken words of light and life

Thanksgiving, is a relational act of worship that correctly discerns Gods righteousness in the heavens. Have I been hurt and mistreated, have I been sinned against. God will Judge all things in his righteousness, and so faith will give him thanks, for the Judge of all the earth shall do that which is just.

We give thanks for every meal, for every breath, and for the sunlight that breaks our each and every day, sustaining all things.

Give thanks, and keep your word. God notes are vows. He does not tempt us and keep a record to bring condemnation. NO. But as he is intent on conforming us into his own image he will teach us to do those things that we say, as this concerns righteousness.

And God makes a tremendous promise.

Up till this promise, the psalm has focused entirely upon the authority of GOD and his reality as Lord above and over all created things.

But now having done this, having set in order his place and the manner in which we discover his righteousness as are God, God pivots it all to help us in are times of personal and national crisis.

‘Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me’ – glorify me, has deeper revelations bound up in relationship with God – Abraham was called out through the God of Glory appearing to him – Stephen saw the glory of God when his adversaries were about to finish him off. He saw the glory of God, because he called out to God in the day of his trouble.

Stephen, showed to that hostile crowd who judged themselves righteous, that their are covenant promises fulfilled only through those who are trusting wholly in Jesus name: Give thanks unto God, as he has provided himself a sacrifice – and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Jesus had gone before Stephen.

Was Stephen delivered, of course he was. And a religious Pharisee was chosen to take that message unto all the fallen sons of Adam.

‘Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me’. God did it for the nation of Israel on numerous occasions, and his summons is no less able in today troubles.

God deals with the heart of worship with his people first. Then he address’s wickedness.

Wickedness is to continue a practice that you know in your own conscience is morally wrong. Late term pregnancy, that stage of life unto which every individual has passed through,  to promote the voluntary termination of our own passage to life for another, is a wicked practice. To celebrate and to financially oppress and enforce it, is wickedness – and your own Judgement will Judge you on that great and coming day of the LORD.

No one can draw near to God, and claim the covenant promises – eternal LIFE, if they will not repent of wicked practices that are as far removed from the mandate of Gods nature, image and first spoken word of promised: And God blessed them and SPAKE: Be fruitful and multiply.

If you see a thief you are pleased with him. God here, unequivocally affirms his full support to funding and supporting law enforcement.

Personally, I was hearted to hear…… the Army & Navy honor the President of the United States.

Thank God for an innocent man who shed his blood for all are sins at Calvary. ‘A dieting thief rejoice to see, that fountain in his day, and a women cast at his feet in the temple, was the first to meet him from the Tomb: I am God, Your God.

Mark this! MARK IT – an atheist who is willing to bankrupt a country to fill his own pockets, inflicting suffering on the poor of that nation – God marks such a man, especially when they could and should have been numbered amongst his own people.

Romans Ch 1 v18 – 21 – Nor gave thanks to him.

But the one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glories me; to the one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God – Call upon Him in the day of trouble!

Killing life in the womb or allowing children to give thanks in their schools – God Himself is Judge

What goes up must come down – give God a sacrifice of thanks, order your steps rightly and God will show his SALVATION.

25 April 1719

President Washington took office on March 4, 1789 although he did not take the oath until the following April 30.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

President Jackson’s message announcing his veto of the act renewing the Bank of the United States there is language which suggests that the President has the right to refuse to enforce both statutes and judicial decisions based on his own independent decision that they were unwarranted by the Constitution

The Right to a Fair Trial:

It’s actually impossible to overstate how important the right to a fair trial is. Honestly.

Fair trials are the only way to prevent miscarriages of justice and are an essential part of a just society. Every person accused of a crime should have their guilt or innocence determined by a fair and effective legal process. But its not just about protecting suspects and defendants. It also makes societies safer and stronger. Without fair trials, victims can have no confidence that justice will be done. Without fair trials, trust in government and the rule of law collapses.

The right to a fair trial is not new; it has long been recognized by the international community as a basic human right. Despite this, it’s a right that is being abused in countries across the globe with devastating human and social consequences.

I am of the conviction that the President of the United States should do all that is within his power, whether it is unprecedented or not, to keep his oath that he made before GOD and the people of the republic. Perform your vows to the Most High!

The President of the United States has not been given a fair trial! If evidence of fraud and of breaking the constitution in respect to key swing states is not being heard – he has a duty to probably more than 74 million Americans. Plus all who have fought for the Republic.

If the President of the United States cant get a fair trial – no American citizen can expect one.

He must continue to fight with honor and discipline and sacrifice, on this home field of battle, and the Lord has promised to stand by Him in the midst, doing all that he is able to do, even if unprecedented measures should need to be taken.

Notes:

This morning I opened my bible and it opened at Psalm 50, in which I glanced upon the words heading this Psalm in my Bible.

A prophetic Prayer, heard after writing the majority of this post….at the Army & Navy football match:

“Almighty God, Creator & Sustainer.

Bless this Day

We recognize it is a gift.

WE DO NOT MAKE THE SUN RISE

NOR DO WE MAKE THE EARTH TURN

BUT WE SEE THE LIGHT

And feel the wind

And we are THANKFULL.

Given us LIFE

Striving honorably to win.

Strive with all might to win, (especially if the field of battle be the United States itself).

Disciple and sacrifice:

Dedicated to the Truth and disciple to what is Right.

Challenges set before us”.

Psalm 50 – is the Psalm that Robinson Crusoe’s narrative turned on, published first on 25th April 1719. In 1719 England was coming to the end of a three year war with Spain – Who happen to have this on their state of arms. God is the Mighty one.

The story is written starting in August 1651. No doubts Defoe knew some history from his grandparents especially before the distraction of the internet. 3rd September was the final battle of the English Civil War. I don’t know enough about that historically to offer much comment but I guess aspects of the freedoms for the individual that America was founded on had some components that came from these events, and parliamentary democracy.

The battle was in Worcester – where a copy of the MAGNA Carta is kept. It is a legal document that entitles the individual to an unbiased and fair trial amongst other things. Attributed by all as perhaps the most significant piece of western legislation.

The narrative of Robinson Crusoe is very interesting, it touches firmly upon the benefits of Judo & Christian influences that are essential pillars of Western Society having developed ‘freedom’ – free from Cannibalism! Yet, it also incorporates progression with Friday becoming his trusted friend, fighting the wolves together as he makes his final journey home.

Locally, one of are elders brought a word centered on forgiveness.

He started by referring to the film ‘Invictus’ in which he said he was moved by how that Great man Nelson Mandela prevented a blood bath by demonstrating forgiveness.

He continued the theme of the imperative nature of forgiveness through the life of Joseph.

It all centered on the Cross. When it was dark, pitch black from 6 to 9 hour. Gen Ch 1 v2.

The children’s section had a puppet show on Abraham and Isaac climbing mount Moriah.

And the elder drew out how at the cross the sacrifice for are sins was completed.

Prior to that he spoke how man had been on the earth for at least a few thousand years, & yet even his chosen people could not come near to him. There was a veil of separation.

He stated that the reason for the separation was that there was not forgiveness of Sins, adequate enough.

But once the sacrifice was complete, that once he had died with forgiveness of others in his heart, how the veil of the temple was rent. That Gods nature could be shared with man again.

“A Spiritual Nuclear explosion occurred. Heart of stone could not be given Gods love.

Forgiveness has the full power of God within it.

He affirmed that forgiveness also releases the power of God in other peoples lives.

The desire for justice and punishment of those who have wronged us is turned on its head.

The ripple effect from Joseph life (&Esau) are felt to this day, because they forgave.  Esau avoided an inter family war & we had twelve tribes of Israel.

Having mentioned the English Civic war it was a very nice and timely word of the centrality of the message of forgiveness to heal great wrongs and divides.

The minister did however, stress that Joseph was not a soft touch and how their inquiry was uncovered.

I can remember after the 2016 election, seeing the beautiful image of Gods intended design for mankind, when Mr Clinton went for a walk with his wife.

I also empathize with Mr Biden, despite what maybe clear corruption that they are experiencing the pain of exposure. The national interests and election integrity require it to be fully brought to the light.

But I don’t blame him one bit, for saying he is proud of his son. It is how a Father should speak about his Son, and I don’t think God ever forgets are humanity, that it has been designed in the image of God.

That doesn’t mean that confession of sin before God is not a commandment. Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.

In are chat room after message, a resident Pastor en route to overseas, told the story of an American Pastor who lead many high profile Nazi leaders to the Lord before their death sentence.

When this Pastor returned home, he received hate mail apparently. From people who said things like you are anti Semitic etc. Far from it, the Pastor affirmed that this American Pastor simple believed the gospel.

He stated that Gods forgiveness is an offensive to man. But it is founded upon the innocent blood shed at Calvary.
