Luke Ch 10: The Hidden mystery

V20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

V21 In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.

When Jesus was baptized the Father spoke from an heaven open, ‘You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased’.

The Father speaking to his Son in this manner is the essence of life itself.

The Father speaking to his Son in this manner is the fabric of all creation.

God created all things through his Son & through his spoken Word.

Creation was created by a promise of redemption through the Word of God.

When the Father spoke to his Son these words, they are a revelation of the purpose for which God made the heavens and the earth.

God the Father made the heavens and the earth so that he may pour out his love approvingly upon his creation.

Man was made to be a part of the well beloved.

Jesus was baptized after all the people had been baptized.

The word spoken by the Father at Jesus’s baptism is a word from God unto all those who are obedient unto the commanded to repent and believe. It is the open and embracing arms of the Father unto a prodigal world, who despite their sins has reserved an inheritance that is incorruptible through his only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

I obtained four Gcse’s at 16 years old all in subjects in which the teachers had encouraged me.

While the prophet Daniel was in captivity in Babylon, he interpreted the king of Babylons dream. The testimony of Jesus, the Worship of the true God, enabled Daniel to interpret the Kings dream.

Daniel was a prophet due to his obedience unto the Word and testimony of God.

God gave the King of Babylon a dream and only a worshipper of the living God could give this King the answer to his dream.

God spoke to the King of Babylon through giving his servant Daniel the interpretation of the Kings dream. The interpretation of the Kings dream was that God would visit his people in a new and unique way during the foreign Roman occupation of their land, and raise up an eternal kingdom that would last for all eternity.

The dream the King had was a prophesy from the Word of God and therefore required a worshiper of God to interpret it unto the King.

So then, despite the fall of man, God is not prohibited from speaking to his creation and of speaking to the King of Babylon.

Clearly, Gods Word has the authority and supremacy over the kingdoms and empires of men.

Yet, he chooses to reveal his authority and supremacy through prophesy: The testimony of the worship of God.

Through the Worship of God, God shares his truth with his creation.

The truth of Gods word is eternal life. An eternal kingdom that shall stand forever.

Through the worship of God, man is liberated from principalities and powers that are opposed to love being poured out upon and through are lives.

When the Father speaks over his Son his full approval, this is a Word from God concerning the true nature of his Word.

The Word of God had come to John the Baptist in the Wilderness, and when Jesus came to John the Baptist that Word from God is fully revealed: Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World.

But the Word that came to John in the wilderness is more than just the sins of the world being taken away, it is Joy in the womb, it is a new birth and a baptism in the Holy Spirit, that enables Gods love to be transfused through are lives unto others.

The truth of Gods word is that he has shared himself with his creation, not withholding any good thing: This is my beloved Son hear Him.

Creation was created by a promise of redemption through the Word of God. The Lamb slain before the foundations of the World.

The fall of man occurred when man disobeyed the Word God had shared with him to preserve life. Man choose to disobey God in the pursuit of acquiring a knowledge that was outside of fellowship with God. And in this pursuit of knowledge without relationship with God, without it being imparted by God, the very nature of God was itself being questioned.

The temptation towards man to acquire knowledge without it being imparted through fellowship with God, contained a direct opposition to the integrity of Gods Word.

The temptation had within its roots and tentacles a lie that Gods Word was not absolute truth & absolute truth unto all the sons of men.

Absolute truth is the redemption of man through Gods Word of Truth, Jesus. Preaching is the authority of Gods Word unto salvation.

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ has the full weight of the Sovereign King of Heaven.

So despite the lie and temptation and the subsequent fall, it could not alter absolute truth.

We live in a world of principalities and powers, but make no mistake about it as saint Augustine stated: “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”

Sports, Politics, Picket lines, Liberal progressive, Communist or hard line and heart Capitalist. A vegan warrior, a eco warrior or a gender confused Confucius Buddhist. Make no mistake about it, the heart is restless until it finds its rest in you.

Knowledge acquired outside fellowship with God is void of eternal life, it is devoid of the divine romance.

Fellowship with God, fellowship with the Father and the Son, is a fountain of life that is within GOD himself & God having made man is the only one able to reveal the details of are intended DNA or the new galaxies Mr Webbs Telescope has only just begun to see.

Absolute truth is the redemption of man through Gods Word of Truth.

God has predetermined that lives are transformed through the preaching of the Cross. The preaching of the Cross is a divine message of love and forgiveness to a rebellious and selfish world. It is also a decisive word concerning eternity. Eternal life to those who repent and believe, and outer darkness to those who reject its truth.

The Cross is truth. It is the truth concerning are natures without knowledge being imparted through relationship with God. ‘My God, My God why has thou forsaken me’ – to fulfill the integrity of God Words of promise, to reveal the absolute truth of Gods Word.

God had stated that man would die spiritually if he chose to acquire knowledge outside of the fellowship, as their is nothing outside of the liberty of love that can give life.

God cannot sustain life outside of the integrity of his own nature forever. That is not annihilationism, but it is a reality of life being from Gods light and God will allow people to choose darkness if their deeds are evil as he can’t have fellowship with darkness.

BUT, Jesus was forsaken at the Cross, he was outside the fellowship as he became sin.

Jesus became sin, through the knowledge of those who nailed him to a Cross.

Jesus became separated from his Father, through the sins of those who nailed him to a cross.

Annihilationism has application to a believer, his guilt his crimes and his past are consigned to a tomb.

Every Principality and power against the knowledge of God and his absolute truth were defeated at Calvary. They were defeated as God fulfilled the integrity of his own Word: God shall provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering’. And we have everlasting life through believing that God gave him as a sinless sacrifice on are sinful behalf – The truth that sets free.

The absolute truth concerning the integrity of Gods Word and eternal life, overcame every principality and power that exalted itself against the knowledge of God.

There are those in this world who proclaim that riches will make them glad or that the world accepting their decision to an abortion or any marriage despite it not being able to produce children naturally makes them happy – but the truth of the matter is this, the heart is restless until it finds its rest in God – honesty is the key to the truth and the true will set you free as Jesus Christ died to reconcile a sin sick world to a loving embrace from his Father.

‘You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased’ – ‘This is my beloved Son, Hear Him’

Rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

My name is written in heaven. That is hard to compute but the wonder of it far surpasses dominion over demons down here.

Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will’.

Jesus rejoiced as he had instructed his disciples to rejoice. His disciples had been given authority through his name, yet Jesus did not rejoice in this but rather he rejoiced that their names were written in heaven.

Jesus had overcome every principle and power of the enemy during the 40 days in the wilderness. He had used the Word of God during the temptation – It is written.

Jesus had come out of the wilderness with authority over the principalities and powers of darkness.

But Jesus did not rejoice that his disciples were entering into this authority through his name, but rather that their names were written in heaven.

Oh, it brought rejoicing to the heart of Jesus that his disciples were discovering his nature, the truth that sets men free: God has shared all of himself – Jesus the name high over all!

In your name they are subject to us – his response, ‘your names are written in heaven’.

Oh, can it be, that love delighteth in me. In whom I am well pleased.

Jesus took all the self righteousness and triumphalism and strife out of Holiness and Pentecostalism. Yours names are written in heaven.

They were not written their because they had been able in temptations hour to say: ‘It is written’ – Yes a Christian must cleave to the text. But Jesus was sharing his name, his victory with them and lifting them up again into the heavenly realm: Loved with everlasting love.

A Christian is not saved by the law, he is saved through the lamb of God who wrote their names in the lambs book of life.

Jesus rejoiced as he was teaching them concerning access unto his Father, the very fabric of his earthly, risen and ascended life.

Luke Ch 10 is deeper than Ch 9 & 8, it is revealing the hidden things of God since before the foundations of the world, mysteries that the apostle Paul later wrote about, not just for the Jew, a religious lawyer and zealot who came to see and hear and share with his gentile neighbors the grace of God through the Cross of Christ.

V24: See x3 and hear x3. Yesterday, Today and Forever – he changeth not.

The converse and convex love of God. God uses the gentiles (Samaritan) to bring healing to the Jewish man who hadn’t seen or heard the true love of God.

The man in the parable is departing from Jerusalem and is on the road to Jericho. I heard a spiritual Father once expound this mans journey as being one who had backsliden, someone who had failed to understand the heart of worship and was returning spiritually so to speak to Jericho a life untransformed by his journey to Jerusalem and symbolically the heart of Worship.

This is a prophetic parable concerning Israel and the gentiles being grafted in. It is prophetic of Jesus and his journey to the Cross where the curse of the foundations of Jericho were brought down by the crimson blood of the Firstborn Lamb. The stronghold of rebellion within the promised land being brought down through the mercy and compassion of a man who had received the nature of God through true heart Worship.

Which of the three proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among robbers? The devil is the biggest cosmic thief of all.

Which of the three – they all saw him but only one had read that which had been written and understood that the truth was oil and wine from before the foundations of the world: His wounds – slain before the foundations of the world.

Only one had heard the sound of heaven: This is my beloved Son – For this my Son was dead and is alive again.

A Priest – he saw the man

A Levite – he saw the man

A Samaritan – he saw the man and had compassion

Blessed are your eyes which see what you see.

Someone who had gone to Worship God but ended up being robbed on his journey to backwards to Jericho. Isn’t this an analogy of the fall of man, made for the worship of God, but restless in are sins and trespasses.

This man was restored unto health, through the care, compassion and resources of another man. The strife found a resting place and the inward resources to live a holy life came from a man who understood the true worship of God: Rejoice that your names are written in heaven – penned by the Word of God himself – the Lamb slain before the priest and Levite ever passed that way.

The seed that fell into the ground and died to reproduce after his own compassion/kind.

The lawyer stood up and tempted God.

Now we know that this is a nature outside the fellowship with God, this is a knowledge of the law, of what is written that does not see and hear the rejoicing in heaven.

This lawyer knew the law but he did not know he was walking with God and therefore could not see or hear correctly who his brother was or his neighbor.

This lawyer was not willing to apply the heart of what he knew to his life, so chose rather to justify himself.

To justify yourself to God, is to be in denial about your broken condition on the Jericho road. Paul was struck by a bright light that knocked him of his horse – but he soon discovered who his neighbors were ‘brother Saul’. Being shown compassion and mercy.

Trusting in Gods Word of life justifies you as you are declaring that God is true.

Gods word justifies a man, hence, the just shall live by faith.

Trust in what God commanded brings unity with God. Jesus ministered in the power of spirit and set captives free from evil and damage from laws broken. Jesus trusted his Father and would not test him and rather than; murder, adultery or covertness it was a river of healing to every family and nation. The word of promise to Father Abraham.

Jesus did not live his life to be only a holy sanctification of the law of God. Loving God, had its outworking through neighbors who had turned their back on the Worship of God, back to the curse of Jericho and sins of stealing, murder he encountered outside worship. Outside worship the law has no power. The cross is Jesus’s religion: My Father.

The Jew had departed from Jerusalem. And a gentile so to speak shows him the fulfillment of loving God & your neighbor.

This is why replacement theology is so wrong & why social justice is not rooted to Gods solution for the root cause of sin.

Replacement theology doesn’t love the Jew and replaces the Cross with Social Justice.

Exodus Ch 1 v10

This king of Egypt was actually being used by God to fulfill God purposes.

Nationalism here is shown to be a root of war and conflict – v9.

However, in respect of Israel there is a Spiritual dimension that is unique. Nationalism in respect to Gods covenant people is a promised blessing to all nations and every family. That does not mean that Israel will not be judged on its conduct according to the law.

Pharaoh thought in terms of war and numbers and sides. He was blind unlike Abimelech to the blessing of God that came with his people. Pharaoh was spiritually blind to the blessings of God (he knew not Joseph and saw not Gods provision in a time of famine). Pharaoh was the essence of the man of flesh blind to the spiritual man.

Saul who became Paul was akin to this Pharaoh when it came to the spiritual man of blessing and in trying to ‘control’ the sovereign and supernatural multiplication of Gods people.

And escape from the land!

This is the only real war.

The man of sin and the son of promise.

God had made a covenant oath to Abraham concerning the land. How on earth did Pharoh think he could stop God being faithful to his own truth. Gods truth is his word, Gods truth is universal and absolute.

This speaks directly to believers about not being ashamed of gender or affirming belief in one man and one women as Gods blueprint for multiplication.

And escape from the land.

The people of God did not escape through war and the arm of flesh and numbers. God divided the waters with his own breadth.

The win also speaks of the spirit that enables the promised land (nature of God/Samaritan) to become are lives.

And escape from the land.

This speaks into the Cross.

This speaks into the 4th empire Rome and the eternal. This speaks into Jesus overcoming Satan in the wilderness and of ‘all things begging given into his hands at Calvary.

Satan and adamic sin fulfilled the promises of God by slaying the Lamb.

And escape from the Land.

Jesus was born in the promised land under the total foreign occupation at a time that it seemed like the covenant promises were a thousand miles away – as far as could be.

V11 &12 – The growth of the Church under persecution.

Jesus & Herod

Moses & Pharaoh.

The clash was light and darkness.

Gods goodness and Satans evil.

The Spiritual and the fallen.

The fulfillment of God word and rebellion to it.

But their is only one winner every time.

Ch 2 v11-14: The issue isn’t nationalism it is the human heart – your neighbor is everyman.

Exodus Ch 3 v6: I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.

V13: The God of your fathers has sent me.

V15: The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name forever , and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

Jesus rejoiced that through his name his disciples would come to know that their names were not written on stone but in the Lambs book of LIFE – as in the beginning.

Pharaoh and blood has not revealed this unto you – but my Father in heaven.

The generation of Jesus Christ. Passed on from generation to generation.

God revealed himself to Moses (known as the law giver/lawyer) as a Father, as a father unto his fathers.

How do you read it?

God enriched them prophetically through their neighbors – they did not leave empty. Loving your neighbors, giving them gold and clothing so that their bondage and slavery might be more than broken but adopted into Gods original covenant plan: the First river where their is Gold, not the vanity of self worship and justification (the king of Babylon) but the reflection that comes through the nature, the generation of Jesus that your name is penned into the lamb book of life, that the Father has clothed you with the mantle of the lamb.

(The Lawyer was just as daft as King Nebuchadnezzar, they both immediately after having the interpretation bowed down to the idol of man – despite the testimony of Jesus being present).

Jesus has just overcome the enemy and shared this truth with his disciples and lifted the all up into the harmony of heaven and wham – this lawyer seems as far away from the God of heaven as King Neb. Let’s hope this lawyer lifted up his eyes to heaven to see the writing there: King of the Jews the fulfillment of all prophesy: Isaiah Ch 53.

Gen Ch 3 v5 – Knowing Good & Evil.

Exodus Ch 2 v25 – God saw the people of Israel – and God knew.

Exodus Ch 3 v7 – The the Lord said, ‘I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings.

Seeing and hearing x3.

The true deliverance from evil comes through the victory of the cross over ever principality and power that accuses the brethren. The victorious messiah has written are names in the book of life.

Jesus Christ died to remove the legal curse and facilitate compassion unto your neighbor through the sharing of the good news of Jesus and all he accomplished there.

The promised land – your names are written in the lambs book of life. That is a knowledge of pure goodness and mercy following you all the days of your life.
