Yesterday, my second to last call was with a young person called ‘Noah’, I told them how that I loved his name, and expounded on Noah seeing grace in Gods nature, which changed him. The emphasis being on Noah not being better than other people, but in seeing Gods nature he was changed.
I then mentioned the Rainbow and 42 generations to Jesus and 40 days in the wilderness when the light of this word, refracted back from the deeps of the water, and started his ministry: One of a full spectrum of color, healing the blind, deaf and dumb, men, women & children.
Mentioned the gospel writer John and how he saw Grace & Truth in Jesus the Son of God. And spoke how this theme of Grace is the arc/Ark that joins the old & new testaments together.
I guess I may have been speaking these words at 4:55pm and perhaps very close to a visit on this site to a previous post called ‘Baptism’.
I had been in Micah Ch 7 Saturday morning, but considering Gods Great Heart, I have turned to the book of Jonah.
Jonah
Jonahs father is called Amittai, which means truth.
Jonah means Dove.
It was a dove that brought to Noah in the ark the olive leaf.
40 days and nights it had rained upon the earth.
150 days the waters had prevailed on the earth.
I guess some people survived beyond 40 days, holding on for dear life outside the ark, upon a floating tree or branch. But after 150 days no living thing from the ground had survived, not even ‘creeping’ things.
Then we have another 150 days as the waters subsided, this turning point requiring the divine intervention of God. Gen Ch 1 v1-3: The Lord is the One who is Lord of his Creation, no one else holds the stars in their place.
We can draw upon this for are current times, with a global pandemic. Perhaps the vaccine is a turning point.
Gen Ch 7 v11 Gen Ch 8v13
Day & Night have been defined by God, time itself is governed and orchestrated by God. God determined to have weeks, and within every week is the Sabbath, denoting a day of rest because on the Sabbath God had rested from all his works. Thus, the Sabbath was always the highlight of the week, one abounding with Joy, to walk in fellowship sweet the beloved and the be-loved.
The Bible then has an account of years. Thus, their was a biblical understanding of time & seasons and months before Noah had ever been a twinkle in the eyes of Lamech.
Lamech lived 777 years, and he died. Of interest is that the Dove is sent forth 3 times and it follows with a 7 day period.
The generations from Abraham until Christ are also placed into a sequence of 3 blocks of 14, with 14 being the witness of 7 multiplied.
Hence, the covenant promise of rest, that ground upon which the dove could rest and needed not to return due to the evidence of the promises of God being yeah and amen, the substance of things hoped for having pleased & materialized. Hence, this ONE, would bring relief from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.
KING OF THE JEWS – CROWNED WITH THORNS & HIS PALMS PIERCED PAINFULLY.
At 33 years of age & he cried: IT IS FINISHED.
Three words, spoken at 33, that finished Fathers work! During the Sabbath…
Fathers work, was everlasting life, not that men should die! Access to the tree of life, was never on merit, it was always apart of Gods Great Heart: For God SO LOVED.
& what follows the 7th day, is it not the 8th, and is that not the first day in which the earth correctly corresponds to the heavens, is it not a type of the infinity that God is, the stars in multitude & the offspring from the original man & women. And has not the light of this world come to meet us before the break of dawn, are lives to go forth with the message of accepted in the well beloved, of a Father who art in heaven, who has shared with us the one who has conquered the grave – 777 – Noah, will meet again with Lamech. Lamech’s God became Noah’s God, and Jesus has shared all of the sure mercies of David and the covenant blessings with those of us who believe, despite having started from far far away.
The covenant blessing: Hosea Ch 1 v10 – 2 Cor Ch 6 v18 – John Ch 20 v17.
Teaching the next generation, is the Mandate of Heaven. The dove returned not on the final flight, as it had a commission to bear fruit and to multiply. Her companion, unto whom he was to hold fast that they become one, had to catch up with her understanding of the covenant, bursting forth into that upper room, before he appeared and spake ‘Peace be with you’.
But he had to venture/fly out of the comforts of home and into the promised land of the new creation.
Gen Ch 7 v11 Gen Ch 8v13
Despite the calendar having already been established, God places inside the covenant promises: All Times, Dates and Seasons.
Everything is associated with Noah, and everything afterwards is directly associated with him. Even that which passed in between, is directly linked to the days of Noah, and the days of his life upon this earth.
Just under One year of Noah’s life is spend inside the Ark.
This speaks to us of Christ! That all of the inheritance is in HIM.
It speaks to a sin sick world, a message of salvation – what then must we do to be saved?
The first time the dove went forth no rest.
But the second time a freshly plucked olive branch. This olive branch had been dove pecked.
Ephesians Ch 2 – this speaks of the multiplier, the Holy Spirit being the And of God.
Ultimate peace for Israel comes through the 2nd coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Which comes after the gentiles have been grafted in. After the Word of blessing covenanted to Father Abraham has been dispersed throughout every nation and family.
The dove pecked olive branch is fresh, and God is able to circumcised one born Greek, into the original mandate of God.
Doves are faithful to heavens mandate. In the 8th chapter of Genesis, doves are first mentioned, as they are a symbol of purity and by nature have one partner for life. They represent the fulfillment of prophesy, a man leaving his father and mother to become one flesh with his wife. The male Dove, had to leave the ark, once the roof was taken off.
The Church embryonic, started after Jesus was baptized. At this Juncture he called men to follow him, leaving father & mother behind, symbolically in a ark! This is to be a taught truth: ‘Follow Him’, a blessing unto every generation.
Times Squared – A number multiplied by itself. Daniel spake of time, and times and half a time. Is it not all wrapped up in him.
1335 days divide by 1 year, 365 days, is not so far from Gen Ch 7 v11 Gen Ch 8v13. Noah, found rest and he will be standing in his allotted place at the end of the days.
Daniel Ch 12 v3 – The wise men followed the star from far away, and worshiped Him. The Word of God made flesh.
And when we consider Noah, and Jonah – and Peter on the day of Pentecost, is not are time to be passed pointing men to a babe who became a man, carrying the full weight of the curse at Calvary – that people might purify themselves through the cleansing blood of the lamb.
After the Word of blessing covenanted to Father Abraham has been dispersed throughout every nation and family.
Dove the son of truth.
One man & One women is the truth of Gods blueprint for mankind, know one and know amount of money can ever corrupt God! Man is made in Gods image: Male & Female.
Facebook will have to face the author of THE BOOK upon that great and final day.
‘Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it, for their evil has come up before me.’
I love the way in which the Lord refers to it as a great city. In his character their is no insecurity or desire to belittle the city. It is referred to as great, the Lord acknowledges the natural accomplishments of men. Big tech company’s, trillion dollar businesses. The Lord may say of them, great business empires! But if a city, is teaching its subjects or using its resources to influence the beliefs of others, God will Judge it according to his own WORD – it is better to have a mill stone tired around your neck and be cast into the sea – than to corrupt the image of God unto a child’s mind.
The angels of little children are always beholding the Face of the Father in heaven. Thus, when they are being harmed on earth, an evil report comes before the LORD.
Jonah fled from his commission.
But the Lord, Genesis Ch 8 v1, hurled a great wind upon the sea.
Did not the disciples toil all night, during a storm – Jonah Ch 1 v13.
Was not the tackling thrown overboard in Acts Ch 27.
The ship threatened to break up. God is able to bring calm to the storm, despite the venom of the devil being enraged at the saving of life. If a nation is broken up, as the Republic of Rome was, Jesus Christ is still Lord of all Lords and King of all Kings – his empire is the only one that will endure for all eternity – no matter how great any of the others may have been.
Each of the mariners cried out to his own god. Paul proclaimed between the mountain of democracy & the Acropolis of Idolatry & Celebrity, ever present in the clay and iron to this day, the ‘Unknown God’.
In him we live and move and have are being. Time, Times & a half. Three dimensions. The Word through whom the worlds were framed.
These mariners had an awareness! They respected the forces of nature and of the Spiritual powers that had greater consequences. They were not so arrogant as to affirm that they through their own intelligence had deduced that all things started with a Big Bang that just by chance contained all of the elements to sustain and maintain life with a wide variety of color.
I love Ch 1 v8. Should this not be the testimony carried of the 120 once filled with the Spirit in the upper room, the lot having been cast. Being asked lots of questions about this life.
Their is great truth found here in their questions. This verse has a tremendous unveiling of the fellowship of man and or mans commonality that transcends nations and tribes and colors.
To the unknown God – these mariners wanted to know everything, once they realized that their eternity pivoted on it.
The men were exceedingly afraid once they knew that he was the God of heaven and the one who made the sea and dry land.
These men were not unlike Jonah! That is the point. These men are a bridge to all those afar off and alien to the covenant promises. Karl Marx, propagated evil because he did not follow the lamb, but his disciples like these mariners, may just have lacked a Godly Lamech in their lives, to have taught them the great truths of God.
They were exceedingly afraid. Just like the disciples when they saw Jesus walking on water.
Can this generation say that to the Church of Jesus Christ! What have you done? Allowing yourselves to be striped of Boldness, knowing that the GOD of heaven and earth the Creator of all things is on your side – every atom of that building shaking as they, the atoms, gave testimony to the words they knew God would answer (Once more) – he holds all matter & every matter in his hands.
It is a beautiful thing that these men do. Rowing hard for this man. They considered themselves, all in this boat together. And shall not their be people who will connect with are testimony, when it is not held back.
But while Jesus sees greatness in his image in these things, he knows that the roots of the mountains must be got to. All the alters of sacrifice and religion, all those things that man can build with his own hands, even the temple and the golden ark of the covenant! The roof must come off, to hear the Father speak from an open heaven: Well pleased, more so than Abels testimony. Son thy sins are forgiven thee, to sharing God covenant truths with others in their own homes. The seed that died to reproduce after his Fathers good pleasure: For this my Son was dead (777) and is alive again.
A new heart will I give you. Not one compromised by fear and the bottom line. But one willing to stand for truth despite the sacrifice, because love compels you.
V14: it pleased the Father – Colossians Ch 1 v19-22.
And yet the guilty can go free due to the covenant that speaks better things than Abel.
This great fish! Why was it a great fish? Had it not been created on the 5th day of creation by a great God. The mighty Whale. This Whales forefathers had not forgotten the days of Noah, they knew they had survived the great flood, because God had allowed them to be sustained by not collapsing the heavens.
That which was outside the ark of testimony swallowed up Johan for three days and three nights. What is this that you have done? Church of Jesus Christ, the prophetic voice of God to every generation. Why did you not warn us, why did you not inform us, why did you not teach us the fear of the Lord, the one who parts the Red Sea.
Days of Grace until his 2nd coming. Are the times getting, and going to be getting more tempestuous?
God has prepared a Whale for his Church. Peter cursed three times that he did not know, the one who had said ‘From henceforth you shall catch men’.
The Whales knew their Lord, despite not having been inside the ark of Noah. And they reminded Johan, that before man was ever upon the face of the dry land, God had provided himself a sacrifice. The covenant promises of God held true inside that whale.
Is this Church age going to face persecution, tempestuous times. Fear not little flock.
Whether we have failed him in are testimony or not, God is able when we cry out to Him to prove the infallibility of his word – the lamb slain before the foundations of this world. God provided himself a sacrifice – with which he is well pleased.
Jonahs prayer is full of messianic Psalms inside that Whale. And the prodigal Son, could still hear truth concerning his Fathers great heart despite being in a far away land.
Just like the mariners, the men of Nineveh, even the King knew truth when it came to their shores. The people of Nineveh believed God – not Jonah, they believed God. Obedience makes all the difference to mans’ ability to hear!
They had believed in an amphibious man who told them about the creation, a pagan god! But all their silly idols were cast away, as soon as the unknown God presenced himself.
God choose to presence himself through the prophet Jonah. How humble is are king. Is this not the great truth upon which the Angels gazed upon from the blue sky’s above. They gazed down upon the humility of God, having been made a little lower for a season! And they worshipped him, who came to reconcile a rebellious and sin sick world unto the Fathers embrace – John Ch 3 v16. Is this not the ark of Gods GREAT Covenant truth. Did he not write upon the ground ‘again’, that his bride might bear witness to this testimony: Neither do I condemn thee, but go and let the dove remain upon you too.
Though the outer structure be uprooted and cast into the sea – the obedience of one man, has made grace the entrance for all to see.
The king of Nineveh, has an understanding of the FLOOD! Jonah had just withheld the spark needed. See how he also includes all animals.
Consider what Jonah knew concerning the true nature of God, and yet he fled from proclaiming to them the way of Salvation – Repent to be saved by his covenant Mercy. Their is a baptism all men must be baptized in. Named to save men from their sin. A new nature to save men from their sins.
120,000 – God had his eyes set on the day of Grace multiplied.
To a generation that is gender confused and doesn’t know its right hand from its left.
The heart of God was for revival. The heart of God is for great awakenings.
What God did then, God can surely do squared.
Note:
What is inside the ark, inside the plant – the seed that died to reproduce after his own Kindness. The ark was made out of this truth, spoken by the Father: felled trees that had gone into the ground and died (777) to reproduce after his kind: Bringing forth many sons and daughters – 3,000 souls being added on that great day of grace multiplied – Sons & Daughters babbling the truths of the fulfillment of prophesy – witnesses unto Him.
Gen Ch 8 contains infinity. God interwoven with man in covenant. 1/01/601 Noah, this speaks to me of Gen Ch 2: after the flowing waters, man (6) placed ‘again’ in the garden: To reproduce after the pattern of the Lamb, who saves men from their sins.
Gen Ch 9 v2 – a handy truth for any ominous encounter.
Four boats:
- Noah’s ark – men drowned outside. (But Jesus went & preached unto them).
- Jonah is cast overboard (and survives) and the men are speared in the ship.
- The 12 disciples in the boat of Galilee – Jesus gets into their boat – and the storm ceases!
- Paul on his way to Rome, with soldiers and prisoners in chains. But no life is lost.
Paul reveals to us even in the first boat he after his death upon the cross went and preached unto those who had perished outside in Noahs day! Ephesians Ch 4 v8-16.
Not tossed about, but growing up and fit together in love.
- Illustration in the Old – Jonah was the disobedient version of Noah.
- Demonstration – an ‘obedient man brought calm to the storm – JESUS, when he entered the boat.
- Old, New, Post Gospels: Outworked in the disciples, 3,000 added, & Paul sent to Rome.
Saving men is the testimony of Jesus. Jesus will not Depart from a repentant sinner – ‘Depart from me for I am a sinful man’ – I will not leave you nor forsake you, in my Father house are many mansions.
Locally the preaching spake on waiting and had these three initial texts: Luke Ch 1v10 & 26 & 38.
He stated that God waited 100 years for Noah. That he waited 1000 years for the fulfillment of the temple sacrifice and how he waited 33 years for Christ to cry ‘It Is Finished’.
And he then went into Hebrews and 2v1 & Ch 3 v6 (hold fast) & Ch 4 v14-16 & Ch 6 v19-20 & Ch 9 v27-28 & Ch 10 v19 (hold fast), affirming their are three ‘Let us’ here (Mad in his image).
I couldn’t help but notice the Promise of Rest for Today. And the preacher emphasized that we are not like the World, despite perhaps struggling with lock down, as He is the same, yesterday, Today and Forever, so that are waiting can be filled with wonder and Joy.
